陳鴻軒 (CHAN Hung Hin) is a Melbourne-based artist, designer, and craftsman whose practice moves between furniture, lighting, and experimental objects.

His work explores the relationship between material, culture, and contemporary object-making, investigating how familiar materials and everyday typologies can be transformed through process, balance, and material experimentation. Working through hands-on making and intuitive exploration, Hin creates objects that challenge conventional perceptions of value, function, and material use.

Born in Hong Kong and shaped by experiences across Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and Australia, his multicultural background informs an ongoing dialogue between local material contexts, craftsmanship, and industrial design. Hin’s work often responds to ordinary materials and forms, reframing them into objects that carry both narrative and presence.

Through collaboration and experimentation, Hin’s practice continues to evolve as an exploration of material behaviour, cultural memory, and the stories embedded within objects.
